PSA Peugeot Citroen, the France's largest car maker,is recalling 100,000 cars across Europe to change accelerator pedals on two models designed and produced in a joint venture with Toyota. It says the recall involves Citroen C1 and Peugeot 107 models produced in the Czech town of Kolin in the 50-50 venture with Toyota, which launched a massive recall of its own last Friday. The recall is a "preventive" move, said by Jean-Marc Sarret, the company spokesman, who said, there haven't been accidents or safety problems linked to the pedals. The owners will be noticed by mails of the recalling, which involves cars built between mid-2005 & mid-2009,said Sarret. The recall affects about 10% of all Peugeot Citroen cars in circulation.
